OUR THREE STEAM GOALS

01

Learn how the natural world works.

02

Understand how humans interact with the environment.

03

Find ways to deal with environmental problems and live more sustainably.

Students will get a hands-on approach to the variety of activities and excursions on our unique campus.

STEM Bus

Featured on local news stations and other media outlets, our STEM bus incorporates all the above activities into interactive lessons taught by our STEAM team (DATE Students) who have been trained and given the fundamental skills on how to reach students ages K-3.

Aquaponics

Students are taught a food production system that pairs aquaculture (raising fish in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) symbiosis is used by the plants and animals to provide sustainability. Students will visit our 1500 square feet greenhouse to see the process at work.

Planetarium

Students will get a chance to visit our planetarium and gaze into the stars to feel as if they are rocketing into space viewing celestial objects and complex motions of the heavens.
